thanks.. got the naphtha at home depot aswell..
Well... current progress... touchup just about complete... gonna take a look at that tomorrow and go from there... I just sanded, naphtha the inside of the cabinet and painted it a matching blue serveral coats. Thats coming together great. Once i approve the playfield.. i got the varathane on hand to be sprayed.
I scratched off and removed the americana paint and used plastix (i believe that the brand). Should be great i hope atleast for how much i paid for each color. Almost 5x more expensive that the other paint.

Well.. i thought i place some update pics of my progress. I only had my cell phone around me to take pics so thats what i used. Sorry if quality of pic isnt all there. Here are pics after a quick sanding #5 coat (4 lights and 1 thick) And here is a pic of heavy coat #6 sprayed fresh BTW.. i used Thumb tacks to cover #44 light holes and i ran out.. so i used blubs themselfs to cover the rest. (Dont care bout em.. gonna upgrade to LED when done) Progress is awesome.. I am not a big time artist.. some of my touchups arent dead on but they do the job and not an eye sore. Main wear spots was the handle of the UZI gun and the 4 skill shot bullets to the mid left of the playfield. Clear is smoothing out nice and also got a level clearcoated playfield. Thanks to Ren for his info and tons of other sites. Hopefully i dont have a hectic weekend so i can lay the final coat on sunday.

I created clean vector(Adobe illustrator and Adobe PDF) versions of the image and a template version for cutting out the shape. You can take the file to a sign shop and have them reproduce it on vinyl. You can print the template out on your printer and use spray adhesive to mount it to the plastic for cutting. E-mail me and I'll send you copies of the files you need for printing. Don't use the low res version below. Here's a low resolution sample.

well... i just buffed/polished/waxed the playfield and it looks awesome. The finish came out a whole lot better than i expected. I am in the process of building it back but i am finding a lot of stuff that needs to be corrected. Looks like the last guy that was servicing it(bought it a year and a half ago) used whatever worked to get it together. I am finding incorrect post is quite a few areas. When i get stuff ordered and continueing to build.. i find another error and have to wait for another package boo!! Well, the final result will be awesome but i am getting my pinball fix from going to the pacific pinball museum.. awesome place for those who havent been there. Must See!
